Technical Office Engineer

  • Prepare, review, and revise architectural shop drawings in coordination with consultants and contractors.
  • Develop detailed drawings, joinery details, furniture layouts, finishing schedules, and material boards.
  • Ensure design intent is fully translated into construction drawings and execution details.
  • Prepare and follow up on RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design and site issues.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align design, budget, and schedule.
  • Review tender documents, BOQs, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings at project handover.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and finishes.
  • Research and recommend materials, finishes, and innovative design solutions that align with project and client vision.
  • Maintain strict compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Civil Engineering (with architectural focus).Proven experience as a Technical Office Engineer in architectural and interior design projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, joinery works, finishing materials, and fit-out processes.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.Strong knowledge of shop drawing preparation, detailing, and coordination.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is an advantage.
