- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, internal control, and taxes.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and corporate policies
- Working with internal and external auditors; support audit processes and facilitate timely resolution of audit findings.
- Coordinate closely with departments such as HR, Supply Chain, and Sales & Marketing to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with the tax consultants to ensure accurate tax calculations, reporting, payments, and audit defense
- Contribute to minimizing the company’s Effective Tax Rate (ETR) by applying optimal tax planning techniques in accordance with local tax laws.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus).7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.Experience in handling external audits, tax planning, and compliance.Proven experince with SC Zone RulesExperience with international organizations.
