JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and plan the repairs in the workshops.
- Ensure maximum utilization of the technical team to ensure they are utilized for maximum
results.
- Day-to-day planning, control, and execution of repairs in the workshop to ensure the set
target is achieved.
- Monitor spare parts allocated to carry out repairs on trucks and its utilization is in
compliance with the approved budget.
- Ensures that technical staff are retained on the job and discipline maintained
- Ensure safety precautions and good housekeeping are observed
- Any other responsibility assigned by the Fleet Manager / Maintenance Manager
Bachelor's degree in a related field Mechanical Engineering or any related field.Proven experience in workshop management (Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a similar role).Strong leadership and team management skills.Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes.Understanding of quality control and safety standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency.Proven ability to analyze and solve operational challenges.Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
