Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Design and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with FMCG business goals, ensuring integration with traditional marketing efforts.
  • Digital Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of integrated digital campaigns across social media, search engines, e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and other digital touchpoints to drive customer acquisition, retention, and sales.
  • Brand Visibility & Engagement: Increase brand awareness and consumer engagement through effective use of digital channels. This includes managing social media platforms, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and paid media strategies.
  • E-Commerce Focus: Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimize digital touchpoints for FMCG product listings, ensuring high visibility and driving sales on online retail platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use digital analytics and consumer insights to assess the effectiveness of digital campaigns. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, and ROI, and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Understand customer personas and purchasing behaviour within the FMCG sector and develop personalized digital strategies that cater to specific market segments.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled digital marketing team, ensuring they are equipped with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across paid media, content creation, digital tools, and platforms for optimal return on investment.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the FMCG industry, ensuring that the brand remains competitive and innovative.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination in implementing marketing strategies.
  • Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content that resonates with FMCG consumers, including videos, blogs, social media posts, and other digital assets.

Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in FMCG or related sectors, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and purchasing patterns.Expertise in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, e-commerce, etc.).Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.).Solid experience in e-commerce marketing, including product optimization, paid media, and partnerships with online retailers.Analytical skills with a data-driven approach to campaign management and optimization.Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.Creative mindset with a focus on driving innovation in campaigns and digital touchpoints.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth FMCG environment.
