- Perform regular preventive maintenance on dyeing machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of water systems, boilers, and chemical dosing units.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed.
- Coordinate with dyehouse production staff to schedule maintenance activities.
- Assist in equipment installation, modification, and upgrades.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical/electrical engineering.At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a dyehouse or textile plant.Solid understanding of dyeing machinery and supporting equipment.Experience with pumps, valves, piping systems, heat exchangers, and control panels.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Basic computer skills (for maintenance logs and reporting).Ability to work in hot and humid environments typical of dyeing operations.Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or overtime when necessary.
