Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, working closely with operations and commercial teams.
  • Oversee cost accounting, including raw material costing, product margins, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics (e.g., profit margins, production costs, working capital).
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial standards, and internal controls.
  • Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives, such as new product launches, CAPEX investments, and pricing strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Support inventory valuation and stock audits in collaboration with supply chain and warehouse teams.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and scalability.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.7+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a controlling or leadership role in the food or manufacturing sector in the food or FMCG industry.Strong SAP experience is a must (Hana business modules preferred).Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting standards.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Experience in a fast-paced or multinational food/FMCG company.Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.October / Zayed Resident.
