Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders in the seaport, transport, and logistics sectors, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and define product features.
Market Research: Continuously monitor industry trends, regulations, and innovations to identify opportunities and challenges in transportation and logistics, adjusting the product strategy accordingly.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate efforts across engineering, design, QA, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and successful go-to-market strategies.
Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure that the product addresses real-world problems in the seaport, transportation, and logistics industries, prioritizing features that add value to customers.
Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years of experience in the seaport, transportation, or logistics industry. Strong understanding of seaport operations, transportation logistics, and supply chain management is required.Technical and Product Management Skills: Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in Agile product development environments. Strong ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps based on market needs and business goals. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels of the organization. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and operations.Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with port operations management systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics platforms. Experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of global transportation logistics challenges (e.g., shipping, cargo handling, fleet management). Ability to drive product decisions based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Certification in Product Management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing) is a plus.
