We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented quality assurance manager to lead and oversee all QA operations within our agricultural production lines, with a focus on crops, olives, and vegetables. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agricultural quality systems, food safety regulations, and export standards, ensuring that all products meet internal and international quality benchmarks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all stages of agricultural production and processing.
- Supervise and evaluate product sampling, lab testing, and analysis to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the harvest, handling, and post-harvest processes for crops, olives, and vegetables to ensure minimal spoilage and maximum freshness.
- Monitor adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and GLOBALG.A.P. standards.
- Lead quality audits (internal/external) and coordinate with certification bodies for inspections and accreditations.
- Collaborate with the production, agronomy, and logistics teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with export market standards (EU, GCC, etc.) and prepare required documentation.
- Train and guide QA staff on best practices, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, food science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in agricultural QA, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record working with crops, olives, and vegetables—from farm to processing to export.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance, food safety, and agricultural certification standards.
- Experience with QMS documentation, traceability systems, and compliance reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
- Flexibility to travel between farm and processing sites as needed.
