- Responsible for providing in-depth credit analysis and unbiased credit opinions on the designated companies and industries.
- Present effective and in-depth fundamental credit analysis on a regular basis to committees on issuers in a portfolio of corporate entities, financial institutions, and structured finance transactions.
- Develop insightful knowledge of the assigned sectors and issuers.
- Accurately identify and assess potential operational and regulatory risks.
- Interact with management at the rated companies.
- Screening data, spreading financial statements for new straight forward transactions.
- Write detailed, high quality, insightful and focused research on credit issues affecting the rated companies, including periodic credit opinions, in-depth reports on rated companies and sectors, special comments, and short articles on current credit trends/topics.
- Conduct financial analysis for corporates.
- Review bond indentures, liquidity agreements, official statements, and other legal documents.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business. Credit course.5-7 years of experience. Having at least two years of professional experience working for an investment bank or financial institution.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and credit analytics.Proficiency in business writing.Understanding of local legal frameworks relevant to the business environment.Relevant knowledge of legal documentation drafting and review.Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data.Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts.Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program.High level of financial analysis.Proficiency in financial modeling.High level of time management, tasks prioritization, and meeting deadlines for projects.Multi-tasking abilities and performing well under pressure.
