Job Purpose:
Responsible for administering payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax and social insurance regulations, maintaining accurate employee records, reviewing attendance, leaves, overtime and all monthly salary effects. Additionally, handling employee scholarships, coordinating with medical insurance providers, and facilitating the opening of bank accounts for new employees, ensuring that all processes align with the university's policies and legal requirements.

Accountabilities:
- Keeps updated with the adjustments in social insurance & tax laws ensuring that payroll, compensation and benefits practices comply with the Egyptian laws.
- Reviews employees’ leaves, attendance, permission records and any other monthly making sure they are correctly processed on the HRIS according to university policies and labor laws.
- Oversees employees’ effects on monthly basis, including tracking absenteeism and timekeeping for proper calculation of the payroll.
- Administers the payroll process, including the data entry and calculations of incomes, overtime, bonuses, incentives and deductions.
- Uploads and migrates the transactions regarding all the payroll through the E-Tax portal for fine-tuned calculations and compliance with tax-settlement regulations.
- Prepares “Change of Status” letters related to changes in employee status, such as promotions, transfers, and salary increases.
- Handles the employees’ scholarship process, including obtaining signed commitment forms and keeping track of employees enjoying such benefit according to the university’s policies.
- Coordinates employee’s medical transactions with the medical service provider, like new employees’ enrollment, termination of departing employees and medical claims/ reimbursements processing.
- Coordinates with the Bank the opening of bank accounts for new employees by issuing related letters, and informing employees with their newly opened bank account numbers as its available.
- Supports in data analysis and reporting related tasks as required.
- Performs any other tasks requested by Manager, HR & Total Rewards
Education:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field.Experience:4 to 8 years of experience in Payroll, compensation and benefits handlingSkills:Superior analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on HR data.Excellent Planning & Organizational skills.High level of ownership, responsibility with a self-driven personalityVery Good communication & negotiation skills.Excellent Problem-Solving Skills & ability to think strategicallyExcellent level of English Language.Experienced in using HRIS and ERP systems.Excellent knowledge of all MS.
