- Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and programs.
- Support safety-related tasks such as inspecting machinery, checking noise levels, and monitoring workplace conditions.
- Help conduct risk assessments and implement preventive safety measures under the guidance of the Safety Officer.
- Assist in reviewing and updating existing safety policies and procedures as required by legislation.
- Aid in organizing and coordinating HSE training sessions for employees.
- Support in the oversight of installations, maintenance, and safe disposal of hazardous materials or substances.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Safety Officer and assist in halting unsafe activities.
- Help investigate incidents, gather relevant data, and support in incident reporting.
- Assist in conducting factory-wide safety and health inspections, identifying potential hazards, and supporting corrective actions.
- Help monitor and ensure compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) within the factory.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and communicate safety concerns to the Safety Officer and management.
- Support the procurement and monitoring of firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, ensuring they are fully operational.
- Assist in ensuring the factory complies with government health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update safety records and databases as required by management.
Bachelor’s degree of any related field.In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures.Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.Outstanding organizational skills.Diligent with great attention to detail.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
