Role Overview:

As a Supply Chain Supervisor in our coffee trading company, you will oversee operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure a smooth, cost-efficient, and reliable supply chain. Your role will be crucial in sourcing quality products, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing costs and maintaining high operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Procurement:
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure high-quality coffee at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure a steady supply of materials.
  • Work closely with finance and production teams to forecast demand and manage procurement budgets.
• Logistics & Distribution:
  • Coordinate transportation, shipping, and customs clearance for both domestic and international trade.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, quality control standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop strategies to optimize logistics costs and delivery timelines.
• Performance & Compliance:
  • Analyze key supply chain metrics and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.
  • Utilize ERP systems and supply chain software to track and optimize processes.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or logistics, preferably in coffee trading or commodities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
