Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Supervisor in our coffee trading company, you will oversee operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure a smooth, cost-efficient, and reliable supply chain. Your role will be crucial in sourcing quality products, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing costs and maintaining high operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and improve warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations.
- Procurement:
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure high-quality coffee at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure a steady supply of materials.
- Work closely with finance and production teams to forecast demand and manage procurement budgets.
- Logistics & Distribution:
- Coordinate transportation, shipping, and customs clearance for both domestic and international trade.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, quality control standards, and industry best practices.
- Develop strategies to optimize logistics costs and delivery timelines.
- Performance & Compliance:
- Analyze key supply chain metrics and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.
- Utilize ERP systems and supply chain software to track and optimize processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or logistics, preferably in coffee trading or commodities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and procurement software.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
