Senior Sales shipping and logistics

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their shipping and logistics needs.
  • Present and promote the company’s freight, warehousing, and logistics solutions to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.Strong knowledge of shipping processes, freight rates, and logistics operations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.[Optional] A bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
