Collection Specialist

  • Track and follow up on clients’ installment payments to ensure timely repayment according to agreed schedules.
  • Regularly update the payment status for all clients and identify overdue payments.
  • Initiate contact with clients via phone or in-person to remind them of overdue payments and negotiate repayment solutions.
  • Work with the direct manager to develop and execute monthly collection plans for overdue and non-performing loans.
  • Ensure that records of outstanding amounts, payment terms, and client balances are kept up to date.
  • Verify and review all client data and loan details, ensuring the accuracy of client information and the correct status of loans.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on overdue accounts, payment collections, and progress on collection targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.Proven experience in collections or customer service, preferably in microfinance or financial services.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
