Deputy Chief Executive Officer - Real Estate Properties/Construction Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy CEO to oversee and drive the operations, strategy, and growth of our real estate properties portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Deputy CEO will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations, optimizing profitability, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic objectives in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and growth plans.
  • Drive the development of new business opportunities and partnerships in the real estate sector.
  • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.


  1. Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee the operations and performance of all real estate properties, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, zoning laws, and environmental standards.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize property management.


  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and profitability targets for the real estate portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate investment opportunities and manage funding for projects.
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to provide actionable insights to the CEO and Board.


  1. Project Management:
  • Lead the execution of new developments, renovations, or acquisitions within the portfolio.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with development and property operations.


  1. Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor senior property management and operations teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training and professional development in line with industry standards.


  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, tenants, contractors, and government entities.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, board meetings, and public events.
  • Communicate the company’s progress and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.


Skills

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in real estate management, development, or investment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of property management, real estate development, and market analysis.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mixed-use developments, residential, commercial, or retail property portfolios.
  • Knowledge of local real estate regulations, market conditions, and trends.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and real estate investment analysis.
