Workshop Engineer (Automotive)

  • Follow up on the daily work in the workshop and follow up on periodic maintenance of the equipment.
  • Assist in analyzing and solving workshop problems and identifying technical problems to avoid in the future.
  • Make an inventory to monitor the equipment, its cleanliness and suitability, in cooperation with the operations manager, and submit the necessary reports
  • Providing solutions to reduce expenses by reducing waste and 
    maintain equipment 
  • Follow up on customer satisfaction in returned repairs and prepare the necessary reports for the operations manager.
  • Follow up on technicians and ensure the quality and effectiveness of repairs or any work done on vehicles.
  • Carrying out the necessary tests and procedures to diagnose faults correctly based on Specific standards for each brand.
  • Analyzing the reasons for not accepting some special repair orders, submitting suggestions, and preparing the necessary reports.
  • Ensure that the technician carries out all the work required by the work order.
  • Providing support and guidance to technicians in difficult problems.
  • Ensure that technicians use the correct standards to maintain the vehicle during repair.
  • Training junior technicians or junior engineers to use tools correctly.
  • Verifying the accuracy of the diagnosis made through communication between clients and technicians in the workshop
  • Responsible for testing vehicles after repair and handing them over to the client

BSc. of Automotive Engineering in mechanical field or any other relevant fieldExperience from 2-4 years in a workshop, same fieldGood communication and negotiations skills.Good in decision making and problem solvingGood leadership skillsGood in English languageGood MS office.
