Job Description:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling furniture products to clients, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a technical background to better understand and communicate product specifications and applications. This role requires experience in the furniture industry and a customer-focused approach to delivering tailored solutions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

5-7 years of experience in sales within the furniture industry. Technical background is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical product details.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Good negotiation and closing skills.
  • Knowledge of the furniture industry, including materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Identify and engage with potential customers to generate sales opportunities.Understand client needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions.Provide technical advice on product specifications, materials, and applications.Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests promptly.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure client requirements are met.Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new products.
