Overall, Purpose of the Job:
The Logistics Executive is responsible for providing Logistics services in order to support effective provision of high-quality services to the business by assisting all Shipping & Logistics tasks.
Primary Tasks:
- Implements work objectives and schedules for specific Logistics operations and/or processes in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business.
- Effectively follows up internally with various local logistics teams including Sales & Marketing department, and externally with forwarders, clearing agents and insurance brokers on all issues related to shipment delays and insurance claims, in order to ensure smooth provision of services.
- Assists in Identifies and proposes improvements of procedures and reports in own area to support the ongoing development of Logistics standards.
- Collects processes and maintains accurate data related to Logistics activities in order to ensure that statistics are established.
- Coordinates with the Sales & Marketing Manager to provide to internal customer’s professional advice and guidance on Logistics issues in own area, in order to ensure that high standards in Logistics practices are achieved and maintained.
- Reports major problems and areas of non-compliance to direct manager in order to ensure that a high level of logistics service is maintained, and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identifies relevant legal requirements and government regulations and ensures current Logistics policies and procedures are in compliance Develops and maintains good working relationships with suppliers and other external agencies in order to ensure prompt resolution of issues and provision of high Logistics service levels.
- Compares Logistics cost between forwarders for his/her country market and highlights feedback to the Direct Manager to select the best services and cost in alignment with the group's corporate strategy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- A talented individual with good management and organizational skills.
- A professional who is familiar with all the legal obligations and ISO requirements.
- Must be capable of handling all logistics software and Microsoft Office.
