Safety Manager

  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead safety training sessions for employees and ensure they know safety protocols.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, ensuring health and safety regulation adherence.
  • Manage emergency response procedures and lead fire safety, first aid, and evacuation drills.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure safety initiatives are integrated into daily operations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and safety training.

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) as a Safety Manager or in a similar safety role in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and emergency response protocols.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work well under pressure and solve safety issues proactively.Certification in safety management or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
