Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and ensure the efficient management of goods, personnel, and processes. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervising the activities carried out within the warehouses including receiving, storing, and issuing.
- Monitoring the daily report of incoming items to the warehouses.
- Monitoring the daily report of outgoing items from the warehouses.
- Establishing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, and security standards.
- Managing inventory and custody in accordance with the accounting program and the documentary cycle.
- Classifying warehouses, monitoring the documentary cycle, and creating codes for items in the warehouses.
- Monitoring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual random periodic inventory checks in the warehouses.
- Reviewing random and annual inventory check reports and reconciling them with actual inventory.
- Forming technical inspection committees for incoming items and ensuring compliance with required specifications.
- Supervising, overseeing, and guiding all employees in the management.
- Reviewing personal custody and ensuring the transfer of custody according to established procedures.
- Any other tasks assigned.
- Developing a strategic plan to manage the warehouses in accordance with the university's strategic plan.
- Oversee the implementation and use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure data accuracy.
Key QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, including leadership and process optimization.Education: Bachelor’s degreeTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) , Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) , and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a team, driving performance and maintaining high morale.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments and manage vendor relationships.
