Enforcing Safety Standards:
- Supervise adherence to safety instructions during operations.
- Ensure workers use PPE (helmets, gloves, safety shoes).
- Monitor safety equipment availability and readiness.
Storage Area Safety:
- Ensure materials are stored according to safety protocols.
- Inspect hazardous materials and mitigation measures.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections of storage areas.
Emergency Readiness and Coordination:
- Collaborate with civil defense for emergency planning and drills.
- Monitor firefighting equipment (e.g., extinguishers, alarms).
Inspections:
- Supervise internal safety inspections.
- Coordinate with authorities during external inspections and implement recommendations.
PPE Management:
- Oversee PPE distribution and ensure compliance.
- Maintain inventory and train workers in PPE use.
Reporting and Incident Analysis:
- Prepare regular safety performance reports.
- Document incidents, analyze causes, and propose corrective actions.
Training and Awareness:
- Conduct safety awareness sessions and train workers on emergency plans.
- Evaluate workers’ understanding of safety procedures.
Suez residents only.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or any relevant discipline is preferred.Extensive experience in loading, lifting, and heavy transport operations, with a preference for port environments.Proven supervisory experience with excellent communication, team management, and decision-making skills under pressure.Certified in OSHA, NEBOSH, Firefighting, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.Strong command of English and proficiency in MS Office.
