  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the energy sector.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market share in energy sector locally and internationally.
  • Lead, recommend, represent the company in industry events and conferences.
  • Create and lead the implementation of branding strategy.
  • Track & Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including but not limited to large-scale power projects, renewable energy, and energy management contracts.
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with partners and clients to secure long-term contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and governmental bodies to promote Company’s capabilities and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and effective delivery of solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer retention.
  • Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to assess feasibility, costs, and timelines for new projects.
  • Monitor projects progress, ensuring alignment with client expectations and quality standards.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions from business development to project execution, ensuring accountability throughout the process.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decisions.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for business growth and client acquisition.
  • Manage the business development unit budget.
  • Create new projects plans, including project scope, goals, tasks, resources and schedules.
  • Review frequently the company pricing strategies to maintain the company competitive advantage.

Electrical Engineering background is a must. 15+ years of experience out of which 8 – 10 years minimum in Business Development domain.Energy industry experience is highly preferred.MBA, PMP, will be preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills. Excellent command of English language.  Experience in CRM software’s.Proven sales record.Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to think strategically.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous demands with professionalism and positive attitude.
