- Carry out day-to-day management of the sites department, including supervising and monitoring the sites engineers & supervisors and the work of any subcontractors for all projects
- Implement improvements to designs and processes.
- Preparing the plans of projects and developing a full vision of the sites’ requirements (scrambles, entry and exit of mortar, equipment and materials, labor places at the site, ... etc.)
- Monitor all projects progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Ensuring projects packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems for engineers & supervisors.
- Take immediate corrective actions to avoid any cumulative effect of deviation and recover the delay to finish the tasks according to the deadlines.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers.
- Supervising the quality of materials and samples that will be used on the site and their suitability and conformity with technical specifications
- Supervising and directing the supervision staff during the various stages of the project (structures works, finishes, specialized works, general works)
- Supervising the works carried out by contractors (structure works, finishes, specialized works, general contractors).
- Follow up on the conformity of the paintings with the implementation, as well as the overlapping of items during the implementation such as (construction, architecture, electricity, mechanics, air conditioning. etc.)
- Responsible for the custody of the site, both petty cash and purchases.
- Supervising the changes created in the project, such as an updated item, pricing and description work for it
- Review the extracts submitted by the contractors and the exchange rates of items and their quantities in relation to their value in the contracts.
- Supervising and abides by the project schedule in order to comply with the deadlines for the completion of each project.
- Follow-up on the issuance of paintings and project documents and their arrival to the implementing authorities before starting to implement the items.
- Holding periodic meetings with project contractors to follow up the progress of work, adhere to the schedule, and work to resolve obstacles
- Weekly report on the work done in the sites department.
