- Develop, program, and modify CNC milling and turning operations using Siemens (ShopMill & Sinumerik) and Fanuc controls.
- Ensure precise setup of CNC machines, including tooling and fixture adjustments, to meet production specifications.
- Optimize machining processes for high efficiency and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Analyze and improve production processes to increase throughput and reduce cycle times without compromising quality.
- Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance machine efficiency, reduce downtime, and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve issues with CNC programs, tools, and machinery to minimize disruptions to production.
- Monitor quality throughout the production process, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to machine operators and other team members on CNC operations, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all team members are proficient in safety protocols, quality standards, and equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling requirements, and inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in all production activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.Experience: 3+ years of experience in CNC milling and turning operations with expertise in Siemens (ShopMill & Sinumerik) and Fanuc controls.Proficient in CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting, specifically with Siemens and Fanuc controls.Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and materials.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred.
