- Monitor work processes and procedures to identify unsafe practices or breach of safety regulations
- Conduct equipment inspection to ensure they are correctly installed and operational
- Carry out investigations to identify the root cause of an incident or other unsafe condition on a work site
- Prepare and present to company management periodic report of safety operations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agents and investigators to address cases of workplace accident
- Conduct risk assessments to identify work areas with high risk of operational hazard
- Oversee company waste disposal methods to ensure they comply with safe disposal procedures
- Review company operational processes to ensure they are in line with external safety legislations
BSc/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred.Proven experience as safety officer for minimum 5 YearsBasic course of safety & health (Egyptian Safety Institute)Wide knowledge of HSE systems.Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.Management skills Analysis and Problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.Good command of English language both written and oralwork independently and in cross-functional teams
