- Manage all QC Laboratory sampling schedules and testing; ensure data and lab reports are being generated from the lab in a timely, accurate.
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of Quality to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
- Carry out laboratory sampling for in-process, utilities, raw materials, raw chemicals and finished product effectively and accurately as per applied international methods, completing all assigned sampling on time and to schedule to ensure compliance to safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and practices as required by business unit.
- Undertake routine analyses and information collection for selected in-process and utilities samples using available laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Clean the laboratory this include but not limited to cleaning of lab ware, the cleanliness of the laboratory benches and the cleanliness of the lab instruments to ensure compliance to applicable GMP and GLP standards.
- Manage the laboratory equipment calibration and qualification program and maintain laboratory equipment in proper working order.
- Adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Academic and professional qualifications: University degree in chemistry or relevant science disciplines Experience: 0-2 years’ experience in similar industrial process laboratories
