Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will play a key role in overseeing the operations of the barber shop during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and a positive experience for both customers and staff. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including barbers, receptionists, and assistants, during assigned shifts.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the scheduling of staff members to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours, breaks, and vacations.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the barber shop or beauty industry preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate business hours.
