Job Purpose: Develop the assigned Sales Lead Qualifier Call activities in order to maintain and grow profitable revenue. Furthermore lead and develop commercial initiatives of new products launch.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure that revenue and profitability targets of the assigned Calls are met.
- Ensure that sales targets for acquisition, development and maintenance are met, through the Direct Channels plans. ·
- Handle Direct mail Campaigns for prospecting, service offering and VAS. ·
- Improve sales effectiveness and efficiency through assigned Tele-sales standards for: number of calls per active selling days, number of selling days vs. working days and number of inbound vs. outbound calls. ·
- Ensure adequate sales visibility through the use of Sales Lead reports, i.e. monthly reporting and pipeline reports. ·
- Ensure effective transfer of customers between the Direct Business Unit and the Relationship Business Unit to maximize the long-term benefit for DHL. ·
- Manage the relationship between Direct Channels and Customer Service/ operations to ensure that business issues are identified and solved pro-actively.
Nature and scope:
Context:
- Sales Lead Qualifier is responsible for handling the majority of selling contacts between DHL and potential, prospect customers and a small proportion of those in other segments. Internally it has day to day interaction with peers in Commercial, Customer Service, Customer Accounting , Operations and sales b)
Reporting Relationships:
- Sales Lead Qualifier reports to the Direct Channels Manger The Sales Lead Qualifier will have frequent contact with customers to maintain a clear understanding of the market. Internally, the person will have daily/weekly contact with peers in Direct, Customer Service Manager, Relationship Sales Managers and Commercial; as well as with their opposite numbers in other countries and members of the regional Ad Hoc Segment team. c)
Problem Solving:
- This position will require judgement, tact and motivational ability to achieve the set revenue and profitability targets of the Sales Lead unit will need to be able to lead and maintain the motivation of a large sales force, driving a personalized business approach whilst driving the introduction of cost effective Customer Interface solutions.
Planning and Organization:
- This position is responsible for the performance of the assigned Sales Lead unit and needs to ensure that its indirect reports (CS, couriers) are feeding the Sales Lead unit with a flow of quality leads. The jobholder will need to undertake regular reviews of performance reports in order to establish areas requiring rectification and in order to deliver budget and forecasts. d)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Good command of English.
- One year experience in a Customer Service related role.
- University degree.
- Good Command of Excel is a must.
