Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chief Engineer at Hyatt Regency Cairo West in Giza. The Assistant Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems, equipment, and physical structures of the hotel. Daily tasks include managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing projects
• Ability to troubleshoot and address mechanical issues efficiently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy management
• Certification in Engineering or a related field is a plus
• Prior experience in the hospitality.
