Key Responsibilities
Strategy Update and Execution
Liaising with business leaders to generate objectives and initiatives that serve the broader bank strategy.
Participate in the development of Technology strategies in collaboration with the Technology executive team.
Ensure Technology strategy execution using the guidelines provided from CIO to meet ADIB business goals via developing and managing business calendar to deliver the agreed business initiatives/ systems.
Execute IT strategy using the guidelines provided by CIO to meet ADIB business goals and Business Lines Plans via developing and managing business calendar to deliver the agreed business initiatives/ systems related to banking applications
1. Architectural Strategy:
Develop and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with the organization's business goals and technological advancements.
Define and maintain architectural principles, standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and interoperability across systems and applications.
2. Technology Governance:
Lead the technology governance process by reviewing and approving technology solutions, projects, and initiatives to ensure they adhere to architectural standards and principles.
Monitor and enforce compliance with architecture guidelines, reviewing proposed changes and evaluating their impact on the overall architecture.
3. Collaboration:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, senior executives, and IT teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for innovation, and ensure that technology solutions drive value for the organization.
Work closely with other IT leaders to align architecture with other IT disciplines, such as security, data management, and infrastructure.
4. Enterprise Architecture Design:
Design and document the enterprise architecture, including application, data, technology, and integration architectures, to ensure a holistic view of the organization's technology landscape.
Develop architecture blueprints, models, diagrams, and documentation to guide development teams in creating solutions that meet business requirements.
5. Innovation and Emerging Technologies:
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the organization's competitive advantage.
Identify opportunities for the adoption of new technologies, such as cloud computing, AI, and IoT, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Leadership and Team Management:
Lead a team of architects and provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to foster professional growth and ensure the team's alignment with the architectural strategy.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging cross-functional teams to work together towards common architectural goals.
7. Change Management:
Facilitate change management processes in collaboration with all vertical heads to ensure smooth transitions from legacy systems to modern architecture solutions.
Communicate architectural changes and their benefits to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Monitor the performance of architecture solutions and assess their impact on business outcomes.
Continuously review and improve the architectural framework based on lessons learned, feedback, and industry developments.

Minimum Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience (12+ years) in IT architecture, with a strong background in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and system design.
