Business Line:
Job Purpose
- Deploy improvement approaches in the organization, and spread waste elimination, and variation reduction through lean Six Sigma approaches, continual improvement leading, and support in opportunities for improvement selection.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible, on a full-time basis, for supervising and implementing cross-functional or local projects to Improve processes, according to the Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.
- Implement Lean & Six Sigma Projects.
- Improve our customer satisfaction, reduce our level of non-quality and generate major benefits on each project carried out.
- Champion, monitor, and advise on the operation management system performance.
- Assess current processes and advise management on improvement opportunities, training, tools, and techniques.
- Collect, study, and evaluate new ideas for improvement.
- In charge of managing projects from the definition of the problem, to the verification of the results of the solution implemented, by ensuring the success of the Six Sigma process.
- Communicate effectively on results & successes to win support from management.
- Issue yearly, quarterly, and monthly statistical reports of poor quality and areas of development.
- Support investigations and resolution of quality incidents and conduct RCAs where needed.
- Train engineers and supervisors on Six Sigma & Lean concepts, and tools.
Qualification & Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (cable or similar industry preferred).
- Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- Language: Arabic & English
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office
Technical Skills:
- Data Analysis and Quality Tools:
1- Experience in data cleansing and preparation for analysis.
2- Proficiency in using Minitab and other data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC).
3- Utilize data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvements.
4- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in digital data transformation relevant to the cable manufacturing industry.
1- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and potential applications.
2- Ability to research new technologies and explore their application in cable manufacturing.
3- Knowledge of and experience in identifying manual processes suitable for automation and working with engineers to implement automated and robot solutions.
4- Ability to effectively plan, execute, and follow up on improvement projects.
5- Experience in developing clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents, including digital work instructions (DWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures.
