We are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Inventory Accounting Manager to join a prestigious and well-established FMCG company in the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a thriving industry.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Maintain and update records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management and stock control
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports, review reports monthly with management
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records.
- Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and system records, investigating and resolving any issues.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis templates as requested
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, major in Finance or Accounting.
- 6+ years of solid experience as inventory controller
- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to perform complex financial analyses and modelling.
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Office
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and deal effectively with all levels of an organization
- Business acumen and excellent communication skills.
- Proven efficiency in dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
