**Job Overview:**  

Triangle Heavy Equipment is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all logistics operations, from coordinating the distribution of our prime products, including power generators, commercial vehicles, and material handling equipment, to handling parts supply chains. As the primary liaison with international suppliers, you will ensure seamless logistics operations, build strong supplier relationships, and enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our global supply chain. Your role is essential in maintaining the smooth and timely flow of goods across borders while optimizing logistics strategies.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan, manage, and oversee all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of prime products and parts.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, negotiating terms, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery.

- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to streamline the import and export of products, ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize costs, improve delivery times, and maximize operational efficiency.

- Monitor and assess transportation costs, shipping schedules, and customer satisfaction to ensure continuous improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, customs laws, and government requirements.

- Collaborate closely with sales and service teams to ensure customer needs are met swiftly and accurately.

- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.

- Oversee international shipments for global customers, ensuring on-time delivery and quality service.

 

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role, ideally in the heavy equipment or industrial sectors.

- Proven track record of managing international supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and end-to-end supply chain operations.

- Strong knowledge of import/export processes, including customs regulations and documentation.

- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
