Role purpose: 
Plan and implement Data Governance activities and ensure that the data is probably classified, documented, and protected according to the defined policies and standards. ensure End to end data quality started from extraction, transformation, and load of data.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

-     Implement data quality processes and metrics to ensure the data is reliable and fit for purpose.
-     Ensuring data compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. and confirm that the data is managed and used accordingly.
-     Ensure the best utilization of BI Assets and resources by leading on going cleansing for non-used reports and models in BI  
-     Implement Vodafone / Vodacom control for CDG (corporate Data Governance) stream 
-     Collaborating with various stakeholders, including data users and data owners, and work together to define data ownership, usage guidelines, and access controls for their assigned data assets.
-     Play key roles in BI major upgrades to minimize the business impact     

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    From 3-5 years’ experience in BI & Data Governance domain.
•    Excellent Knowledge of telecom industry standards and technologies
•    Excellent Knowledge of BI analytical/reporting tools 
•    Excellent Analytical thinking 
•    Service Management Lifecycle knowledge.
•    Problem solving and decision making.
•    Excellent knowledge of PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.
•    Good understanding of both business and technical 
    
Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    B.SC of Engineering-Communication or Computer science 
•    Experience in business intelligence field/tools 
•    Certificates in BI related fields is a plus
