Job Overview:
Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicates them proactively with the HR department, and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with business leaders to provide HR expertise and support on business decisions and strategies.
- Serve as a consultant and advisor to management on HR issues, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Support line managers in driving a high-performance culture through coaching, providing feedback, and managing the performance appraisal process.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring communication, training, and stakeholder engagement are effective.
- Act as a change agent to lead and support organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner role.Certification: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.Skills:Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.Experience in managing change and leading projects.Proficient in HRIS and data analytics tools.
