Product Owner

Job Summary: As a Product Owner you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the product vision and strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and development teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, software requirements specification ,process maps, and user manuals.
  • Backlog Management: Own and manage the product backlog, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing tasks to maximize product value.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the development team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of features and enhancements. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop optimized workflows.
  • Testing and Validation: Oversee the development and execution of test plans to ensure that business requirements are met. Validate solutions through user acceptance testing.

· Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product owners and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

· Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously seek ways to improve processes, products, and team performance.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Software Development Solutions as Business Analyst.· Knowledgeable of the product life cycle in different methodologies (Traditional, Agile, … etc.)Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products from concept to launch.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical skills and problem solving, with decision making ability.Experience with product management tools.· Excellent documentation skills.Writing SQL queries is a plus.ERP experience is a plus.Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and practices.Knowledge of relevant technologies or platforms (e.g., SaaS, cloud computing, mobile apps).
