Job Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in AutoCAD to join our furniture company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, presenting solutions to clients, and closing deals, while utilizing AutoCAD skills to provide detailed technical layouts and designs. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:


Identify and generate new business opportunities in the furniture industry.

Engage with potential clients to understand their furniture needs and provide customized solutions.

Conduct product presentations and sales pitches to demonstrate value propositions.

Client Consultation & Solutions:


Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide innovative furniture solutions.

Use AutoCAD to create accurate and detailed 2D/3D furniture layouts and design plans based on client specifications.

Technical Support:


Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding furniture materials, measurements, and design feasibility.

Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure projects are executed in line with technical drawings.

Proposal Development:


Develop technical proposals and quotations based on the customized designs.

Assist in negotiations and close sales contracts.

Client Relationship Management:


Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to foster repeat business.

Act as a liaison between clients and the company for any post-sale services or product improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:


Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Sales Engineer in the furniture industry or a similar field.

Proven experience in sales and business development, especially in the B2B market.

Technical Skills:


Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawing and design creation (2D/3D).

Familiarity with furniture production processes, materials, and measurements.

Soft Skills:


Strong communication and presentation skills.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Results-driven, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Strong problem-solving and technical consultation skills.

Working Conditions:


Full-time position, with a mix of office and on-site client visits.

Travel may be required for client meetings and consultations.
