Operations Manager (Food Background)

MyJam is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and optimize our internal processes. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency across all departments, and driving our mission to provide exceptional cultural food experiences. You will collaborate closely with teams to implement best practices and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and streamline daily operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that align with MyJam's strategic goals
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with different departments, including logistics, marketing, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage inventory and supply chain logistics to ensure product availability and timely delivery
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards
  • Prepare reports for upper management, detailing operational performance and strategic recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Manager
  • Solid experience with Operations management, preferably within the food industry
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Proven ability to optimize processes and drive operational improvements
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide a team
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for cultural foods and a commitment to enhancing the organization's operational efficiency
