1. Production Engineer

Job Description: A Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of plastic production machinery. This role ensures that production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and efficiency. The engineer monitors production processes, analyzes data related to machine performance and scrap ratios, troubleshoots issues, and suggests improvements. Additionally, they ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance procedures and supervise production staff to optimize their technical skills and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute production plans for plastic machinery.
  • Oversee daily production processes and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor work order execution, ensuring alignment with approved plans.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on machine performance and downtime.
  • Identify and address deviations in production rates and scrap ratios.
  • Propose solutions for operational issues and machine malfunctions.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure adherence.
  • Allocate manpower for daily production needs and resolve attendance issues.
  • Evaluate operator performance and provide technical guidance to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and enhance changeover performance in production departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related fields).
  • 2-5 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection/blow molding processes is plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage production teams.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality management systems.

2. Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep and repair of injection and blow molding machinery to ensure continuous and efficient production. This role involves conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring that machinery operates safely and reliably. The engineer will collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to optimize machine performance and ensure that maintenance goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair injection and blow molding machinery.
  • Conduct periodic and preventive maintenance to ensure machine safety and performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules (PPM) and perform reactive maintenance as needed.
  • Document maintenance activities, tasks completed, and parts used.
  • Work with suppliers and internal departments to improve machine reliability.
  • Ensure that manufacturing targets are consistently met through effective maintenance practices.
  • Update maintenance records and collaborate with other shifts for a smooth workflow.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related fields).
  • 2-5 years of experience in machinery maintenance, especially in plastic production.
  • Expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with injection and blow molding machinery is plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
