We are looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the pre-sales technical activities for various control systems, ensuring client needs are met and facilitating the smooth handover to project execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and other project documentation.
- Conduct deep analysis of RFQs and project documents to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) based on RFQ requirements.
- Lead and actively participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and present comprehensive technical and commercial offers.
- Create and submit detailed technical submittals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare riser, schematic, and wiring diagrams for control systems.
- Provide technical support to the sales team, ensuring they understand the systems' capabilities.
- Facilitate the handover of all technical documentation and project details to the project execution team.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.Proficiency in handling Building Management, Lighting Control, Guest Room Management, and SCADA systems.Strong skills in developing technical diagrams and documentation.Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage client relationships and internal coordination.Expertise in preparing technical and commercial proposals.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and control system software.BMS certifications from recognized vendors are highly valued.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial.LEED certification or knowledge of green building standards and sustainability practices is a plus.Skills and ExperienceTechnical Skills:Deep understanding of BMS components, protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks), and system integration.Ability to design and configure BMS solutions tailored to customer needs.Knowledge of networking fundamentals, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure as they relate to BMS.Expertise in energy management practices and tools.Proficiency with BMS software platforms and design tools such as AutoCAD.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Proficiency in analyzing customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.Sales and Customer Engagement Skills:Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.Expertise in preparing detailed technical proposals and RFP responses.Project Management:Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Communication Skills:Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation skills to discuss terms and conditions with clients and partners.ExperienceTypically 5-10 years of experience in the BMS industry, with a focus on pre-sales or technical sales roles.Proven track record of designing and implementing integrated BMS solutions.Experience working with various BMS vendors and their products.Significant experience in roles that involve direct interaction with clients to gather requirements and present solutions.Documented history of successfully delivering pre-sales projects from initial engagement to handover to implementation teams.
