Customs Clearance Supervisor

Responsibilities: -


- Facilitate the clearance of goods through customs and ports efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly to ensure smooth operations.

- Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation for clearance processes, including bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

- Follow up on clearance processing with custom brokers for all import shipments and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the clearance process.

- Reviewing labels for all import consignments and ensuring that they comply with customs requirements.

- Ensure compliance with all national and international laws and regulations related to imports and exports and stay updated on changes in customs regulations and laws and inform the team and company of these updates.

- Processing Custom Clearance invoices and issuance of request for payments and settling the accounts of the custom brokers with the company.

- Settle the cash deposit with the financial department monthly and submit all relevant receipts.

- Ensure the availability of electronic invoices from claimants for all clearance expenses in accordance with the law.

- Evaluate the performance of custom brokers by completing the release of shipments, receiving clearance charges, and maintaining records of all clearance and other fees.

- Renewing contracts and agencies of custom brokers on the specified dates after reviewing them with the team and the legal department and maintaining them.


Qualification: -

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

- Strong communication skills in English.

- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously



Experience: -

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customs clearance and freight forwarding.

- Comprehensive knowledge of local and international customs regulations and procedures.

- Excellent in Excel, Word & Power Point.
