Tax Compliance Section Head

Job Role:

Your responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, analyzing tax regulations, monitoring industry trends, and completing tax reports while following local laws & guidelines. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and time management skills, as you'll have to ensure our company meets strict deadlines.


Tasks and duties

  • Works on the daily accounting activities ensuring all tax requirements are met & ensures treatments are compliant with the local law Maintains tax controls.
  • Define tax policies and procedures. Follow up and ensure all the previous KPIs are strictly followed by internal and external parties.
  • Maintains financial tax reporting excellence by establishing internal controls for the following cycles

VAT tax cycles

WHT tax cycles

Payroll tax cycles

Stamp duty tax cycle

Income tax cycle

Real estate tax cycle

  • Works on the general ledger monthly to ensure accuracy of posting and quality and correctness of tax extracted reports.
  • Ensures all tax submissions are done on time, after reviewing and confirming all contents with the Tax Manager.
  • Arranges all needed tax simulations with the tax manager to ensure the company’s tax cycle is well protected.
  • Attends all tax audits inside the company and outside the company and reports all findings and comments.
  • Prepare the income tax return and ensures delivery on time.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Tax required.
  • Experience from 4-6 Years, at least 3 years in a large Tax office or Tax department in a large international company.
  • Very good knowledge of local and international tax laws.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Very Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Automated accounting systems experience is a plus.
  • Good Business English.
  • Very good knowledge (Preparing, Attending, and confirming) in all tax Inspections.
