The position's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: -
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies
- Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of purchasing
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and controls
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the purchasing team.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate pricing and sourcing details with vendors.
- Conduct product and service quality appraisal.
- Evaluate Supplier Performance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business from an accredited university, other academic background could be considered in case of solid relevant work experience. 15 years minimum proven purchasing work experience.3 years minimum proven managerial purchasing work experienceMaximum age: 50 years in 1/10/2024.Computer and software skills including MS Office applications.Experience in using ERP systems is a plusExcellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken (Voice recording with application is a must).Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administration skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with prioritization. Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.
