Overview

  • Implement Procurement strategies in accordance with the automation approach led by the MRP usage and in close cooperation with Category Manager and all the plant functions.
  • Manage the operational and transactional procurement for all the production services related requests to find and contract based on a cost-effective deals and suppliers and to discover the best ways to reduce the cost..


Responsibilities:

1-Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.


2-Functional:

  • Manage Procurement activities of the category in accordance with the sourcing strategy, as well as applicable policies, procedures and specifications to deliver benefits to the company and reduce total cost.
  • Manage the day to day P2P operation in a state of the art mode, to ensure compliance and the highest level of controls.
  • On time performance of the P2P tasks, in line with the internal control requirements.
  • Identify the initiatives, projects and saving opportunities that support the procurement decision making process, to ensure creation of stakeholder’s value.
  • Challenge requesters to have optimum and consolidated scope of work.
  • Introduce new potential suppliers/contractors in market with efficient alternatives
  • Create and support the bidding process locally as defined by category strategy
  • Align internal decision makers through focused communication.


Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

Education:

Mechanical/electrical/civil Engineering, Supply chain

Skills:

ERP systems, Excel, Contract management reporting tools developer

Experience:

3+ years in a technically related job preferably to be as a procurement.
