Job Main Purpose:
Sales in the field of Heat Treatment and Steel Industry
Sales Engineer position is responsible for the general sales / marketing operations by handling key customers and expanding customer database and market, through developing competitive pricing strategy handling customers from presenting, offering, finalizing deals, collecting down payment, and handing over to project management, to reach the desired goals and objectives.
Duties and Tasks:
1- Strategic Sales:
- Working & communicating with the Heads consistently to design and develop new, strong, and effective sales strategies to achieve the desired company goals and objectives.
- Maintaining high level of knowledge of company’s products, services, and contracts, to ensure compliance & alignment with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Preparing proposals and offers to ensure successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals through effective product/solution presentations and negotiations.
- Finding applicable ways to achieve the desired targets per year in allocated regional area.
- Identifying new opportunities with defined geographical area to quantify business potential for Substation Engineering/Turnkey projects, consultation, and training opportunities.
- Monitoring competitors move as well as major trends and shifts in the consumer behavior and reporting potential findings to Heads.
- Collecting and analyzing information about our competitors’ offers, strategies & plans.
- Attending and participating in weekly and monthly sales meetings, to update the heads on the status of sales tasks lists.
- Preparing sales reports and analyzing the data.
- Assisting in preparing and implementing the marketing plans as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned by Heads.
2- Customer Relationship Management:
- Studying the company profiles to be able to present our products, and services’ characteristics features, advantages and general applications to position it against competitive offers to best answer customers’ needs and tenders’ qualifications.
- Selling systems/solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets.
- Promoting company’s capabilities/products to end user, EPC, consultants, and clients.
- Negotiating offers, payments, terms & conditions with customers.
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships (from commercial to administrative functions) to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/solution offers and align to provide desired solutions.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience and handling critical customer/key accounts including conducting meetings with customers, following up and solving any problem.
- Ensure collection of advance and due payments from customers as per contractual commitment, in coordination with finance.
Work Environment:
Sales Engineer would be in the filed and visiting customers , while spending some time at the head office to attend meetings & prepare required reports.
Experience:From 3 to 5 years of experience in the sales field.Preferably experience in the B2B sales management.Education, Certifications and Training:BSc degree in Engineering.Sales Diploma is a plus.
