Key Responsibilities:
Program Design and Implementation:
- Design Teacher Support Programs, Create and implement support programs and coaching activities tailored to teacher needs and school policies.
- Develop Performance Indicators: Design KPIs and tools for assessing and supporting teachers’ technical and pedagogical skills.
Observation and Evaluation:
- Conduct Observations, monitor teacher performance through observation visits, and provide feedback.
- Develop Reports, Create monthly performance reports highlighting progress and areas needs improvement.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Coordinate with Curriculum Development and ensure the teacher guide is user-friendly and effective.
- Work with ATS Stakeholders, Coordinate and lead meetings with teachers, school management, and parents to discuss student progress.
- Manage Teaching Assistants and oversee the work and meetings of Teaching Assistants.
Support and Supervision:
- Support Positive Relationships and assist teachers in building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Supervise Teacher Training and Recruitment, Oversee training and recruitment processes for teachers.
Confidentiality and Induction:
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality in issues related to curriculum, teaching, and school work.
- Induction for New Teachers, Ensure proper induction arrangements for new teachers.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of activities that complement classroom learning.
- Use personal expertise to advise and support teachers and staff in specialized areas.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in education or any relevant discipline – Master degree in pedagogy is highly recommended Experience:10- 15 years of experience in teaching and capacity building Technical Specifications:Good Pedagogical knowledge and skills In-depth understanding of competency-based curriculum and teaching approach In-depth understanding of teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques In-depth understanding of creating assessment tools and generating question bankIn-depth understanding of the TVET sector and labor market trends at national and international levels. Good knowledge of international qualifications and Accreditation requirementsEssential Skills Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and EnglishExcellent training, communications, and coaching skills Planning, organization, time management, and coordination Proficiency in MS Office Ability Work on own initiative with minimum supervision and to stay on task.
