Purpose of the job

As a data quality engineer, you will work within the modeling and AI team to ensure to all deliverable meet and is maintained at the high quality standards for the team. You will play a vital role in studying, researching, setting and implementing quality control processes. You will providing QA reports, KPIs and quality trends for deliverables.

Duties and responsibilities

• Unsderstand AI and SQL models and pipelines technical details and quality control process
• Business requirement and understanding to facilitate testing and validation required for business acceptance criteria.
• Write test cases and user stories for the modeling AI transformations phases and end-to-end results including AI models, Pipeline and dashboards. Run regression and automated testing upon change requests and updates.
• Write test cases and suer stories for dashboards, tools and other models delivery channels to ensure optimal quality and user experience
• Develop and update automated tests and queries for AI models, pipelines
• Contribute in troubleshooting and analyzing data quality related issues and advise appropriate solution and fixes.
• Study, research and challenge the quality control process and standards to constantly improve deliverables and processes

Job specification

Education

• Bachelor degree of Engineering in Computer Systems, or Computer Science.

Experience

• 4 - 7 years working with SQL in BI, analytics or Big Data

• Experience with data quality conrol/testing tools/processes
• Ability to write SQL queries and use tools such as Hadoop, Tableau, and other data reporting tools. Must deeply understand joins, subqueries, window functions, etc.

• Prior experience in working with Hadoop technologies such as Spark is a plus
• Experience in UX and/or data visualization is a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum procedures, CI/CD and Automation is preferred

Skills and abilities

• Very good English both written & spoken.
• Advanced SQL
• Good knowledge of BI and DWH solutions
• Good knowledge of Big Data, Python, Spark,
• Past experience in telecom operators and service providers is preferred
• Good programming and debugging skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
