Job description
• Actively participate in recurring problem root cause analysis (RCA) to effectively resolve operational breakdowns and minimize their impact on production.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs in SAP, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Establish local engineering standards for the plants in alignment with global standards, promoting consistency and best practices.
• Provide accurate costing estimates for various projects, enabling informed decision-making and budgeting.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Implement strategies to reduce energy intensity in the plants, fostering sustainability and cost savings.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with local vendors to meet various procurement requirements, ensuring a reliable supply chain.
• Maintain comprehensive records and report capital expenditure (CAPEX) spending, as well as forecast future expenditures.
• Forecast CAPEX for a period of 3 to 5 years, enabling long-term financial planning and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the team to execute cost optimization projects, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage the ordering cycle for imported spares, ensuring timely procurement, and minimizing disruptions to operations.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.Proficiency in the English language is essential.A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field within the FMCG industry.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is expected
