Job Summary: The Export Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales of chemical products within the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. This leadership role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing the export sales team, and ensuring the effective execution of sales initiatives to achieve regional growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive export growth of chemical products in the MENA region and North Africa.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the export sales team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and markets within the region.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and partners across MENA and North Africa.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of sales proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to regional requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and compliance teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of products.
- Analyze market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure adherence to regional regulations and industry standards for chemical exports.
- Address and resolve high-level customer inquiries, technical issues, and concerns.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.Significant experience in export sales management, with a focus on the chemicals industry and a strong track record in the MENA region or North Africa not less than 10 years .In-depth understanding of international trade regulations and compliance specific to the MENA region.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.Ability to work independently, make high-level decisions, and adapt to diverse cultural and business environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.Fluency in English and Arabic; additional regional languages are advantageous.Working Conditions:Office-based with potential remote work options.Occasional travel within the MENA region and North Africa to meet with clients, attend industry events, and manage regional operations.
