Duties:
- Provide insight into cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives.
- Build a costing module to develop a detailed cost of meats sold report on weekly bases.
- Prepare a daily, weekly and fortnightly meat production cost for each meat sales segment.
- Monitor and supervise weekly stock take and provide monthly inventory valuation sheets.
- Review and approve labour hiring agent weekly invoices.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cost accounting.Meat industry experience would be preferable.Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret financial data in a specific way.Good knowledge about Meat works industries including inventory valuation and cost of exporting.Exceptional analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySets high work standards and monitors compliance.Uncompromising professional integrity and personal values/character.Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate/advanced Excel and ERP system experienceAn understanding of accounts, projects and financial reporting with experience in cost analysis to target variance and discrepancy reporting
